Can I use VolleyFit for free?

Yes – VolleyFit is fully free for athletes. For extended group or club features for coaches there are several subscription plans.

Which devices does VolleyFit run on?

VolleyFit is available for iOS (iPhone, iOS 16+) and Android (Android 10+). Both versions are developed in parallel and have the same feature set.

Can I join more than one team?

Yes. With one account you can be a member of multiple clubs and teams – and switch between them at any time.

Load management
What is the ACWR?

The Acute-Chronic Workload Ratio compares the load of the last 7 days against the last 28 days. VolleyFit calculates it automatically from sRPE values after every session. Sweet spot: between 0.8 and 1.3.

What is sRPE?

Session Rate of Perceived Exertion combines perceived effort (1–10 scale) with the duration of the session in minutes – the result is an individual load score per session.

Is ACWR data collected automatically?

No – players log their sRPE themselves after a session. VolleyFit sends an automatic push reminder. Coaches see every value in the team overview right away.

Training & events
How do I create a training session?

Under Events → +. You can set type, date, time, location and registration deadline. All team members are notified instantly.

How does the waitlist work?

If you set a maximum number of participants, additional acceptances land on the waitlist automatically. When someone cancels, the next person moves up and is notified.

Can I export events to my calendar?

Yes – via Event detail → Add to calendar directly into iOS Calendar or Google Calendar.

Workouts
Who can create workouts?

Coaches and admins can create workouts and assign them to players or groups. Players can create their own personal workouts that only they can see.

How do I share a workout?

Via Workout → Share a short share code is generated. Other coaches enter that code to take over and adjust the workout.

What is the Tabata timer?

A built-in interval timer launched directly from a workout. Work and rest intervals as well as round count are fully configurable.

Club & roles
How do I invite members?

Under Group → Invite you generate a link or QR code. Whoever opens the link lands directly in the join request flow.

What is Guardian mode?

For youth teams, parents/guardians can be linked as Guardians. They can confirm events and report absences but have no chat access.

How do I change a member’s role?

As an admin under Members → Tap person → Change role. Available roles: Player, Coach, Admin. Changes take effect immediately.

Forgot your password?

Tap “Forgot password” on the login screen – you’ll receive a reset link by email within minutes.

Where is my data stored?

VolleyFit uses Google Firebase with servers in the EU (Frankfurt). All connections are SSL-encrypted. Data is not shared with third parties.

How do I delete my account?

Under Profile → Settings → Delete account. All personal data is permanently removed.
